Glo (Gloria) Yanni - Instructor

I started my motorcycling journey out in Northern California by taking the BRC.  I soon moved back home to Maine and purchased my first motorcycle – a Honda Rebel.  I rode that Honda all over the place. I would set my sights on tackling a new skill set and improve upon it and then on to another until eventually I no longer feared all the unknowns out there.  I moved up to a Kawasaki 800, then a Honda VTX1300 and now my dream bike…the Indian Chieftain.   I become an instructor here in the State of Maine in 2012 and I have found that I love teaching others to ride.  For me it’s all about the ah ha moments, or when a student will show up to share their “new” to them motorcycle.  You get to relive your own journey through their eyes.  I’ve been fortunate enough to cross the country twice on 2 wheels.  My passion involves “planning” motorcycle road trips for myself as well as for me and my husband.  I’m happiest when I’m on the road meeting like-minded people and sharing stories about the open road.  My motto is never assume you know it all – keep training, keep those skills sharp and never stop learning or feeling the passion.
