Paul Fontaine - Instructor
My riding started many years ago, at 16 after successfully passing my driver’s test, I walked across the parking lot at the St. Johnsbury State Police Barracks and jumped on my uncle’s scooter and passed my motorcycle exam getting my motorcycle endorsement the same day.
My first motorcycle was a 1972 Yamaha 175 Enduro, my grandfather had an old farm in Barnet with logging trails covering about 500 acres and I rode them all! I also rode back and forth to school every day I could.
Many motorcycles and more decades than I care to mention later, I still do pretty much the same thing. I ride rain or shine, stretch the season as long as I can, and I still love riding trails through the woods whenever I can.
I haven’t met a motorcycle I don’t like and don’t discriminate. At any given time, I have between five to ten motorcycles in rotation, I spend my Winters puttering on minor rehab project bikes.
I love riding and sharing that love with anyone who will listen I also enjoy helping new riders develop the skills to be safe and enjoy their own ride.
